Randy Smith

Randy grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from Forest Hills Eastern High School in 2016. He then went on to Michigan State University to study business. During school, his goal was always to run his own business, and he got his start at age 19 when he started DuraPro Painting in order to pay for tuition. He painted all 4 summers throughout college and found his passion for helping others, building teams, and transforming homes. He realized there was a big need for professional, organized painting contractors so he decided to continue to pursue his dream of building a successful business after college. Now, 8 years later, he continues to operate the company alongside some of his best friends and family. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family, playing sports, and fly fishing. His favorite part about his job and what drives him the most, is the positive impact he is able to create for his coworkers, customers, the community, and the painting industry as a whole.
