Background:

This one goes right up there as one of our favorite projects ever. Not only was this a super cool home to work on, but the crew got to stay in the cottage for the week while we were up there working on it. We even caught a few fish after our long days painting. The cottage was located on an island on the lake - we had to carry all of our equipment to the house using a gator on a narrow trail over the water. The entire house needed some serious love as it was very dirty and hadn't been painted/stained in a long time.

• Deck Staining (two tone with white spindles)

Results:

The project turned out beautifully. The client's and our team loved the way the color scheme turned out as it really gave this home the classic cottage feel. The white trim contrasting with the navy made the windows pop, especially on the large A-Frame, and the brown two-tone deck was the perfect final touch.
