Background

Truly an awesome home to work on. When we first saw this log home, we knew it needed some serious love. In order to take stain and look uniform, all the logs needed to be stripped, cleaned, and brightened. This required a long 3 step cleaning process that included hand brushing stripper to the logs, lots of power washing, and applying wood brightener. Once we got all surfaces ready, we knocked out the staining with the full crew in just two days. All of the logs received semi-transparent, the soffits and fascia received a darker semi-solid, the deck received a solid stain, and the doors were painted a rich red color.

Results

This turned out to be one of the transformations we were most proud that summer. The amount of work that went into prepping and washing to get the home ready for stain was crazy, but 100% necessary and worth it after seeing the finished product. The customer couldn't have been happier.
