For off-site refinishing, we carefully remove the cabinets from your home and transport them to our Grand Rapids paint shop. Here we are able to create a factory finish look.

Our Process

Remove doors and drawers, label everything.

Wipe doors and drawers with paint thinner.

Mask all areas that are not to be painted.

Puddy and caulk imperfections.

Apply primer laying down, prevent runs.

Sand, apply finishing coats with spray tip.

White glove installation to prevent fingerprints and scuffs.

Do cabinets get sprayed or rolled?

All of our cabinet projects get a spray finish, both the doors and the bases.

What kind of products are used?

We use a top-of-the-line cabinet coating system from Centurion. The system includes a 2k polyurethane primer (1107) and a 2k polyurethane topcoat (2800 series). We catalyze both products at 15%. The catalyst gives the coating extreme stain-blocking abilities, chemical resistance, and makes it cure very fast and hard.

Will the doors be done in our home or at a shop?

All doors get taken back and refinished at our shop.

How long does a typical kitchen take from start to finish?

We are able to finish most of our cabinet projects within a week. Our process is efficient and dialed in, that way you can get back to enjoying your kitchen!

What type of paint do you use?

We use a 2K Poly coating system from Centurion. This is a high end industrial coating made specifically for cabinets, and in our opinion is truly the best coating option for long lasting, beautiful cabinets.

How do I select a color for my cabinets?

A free color consultation is included in every cabinet project. We send a professional interior designer to your home to help you find the shades that compliment your home. Once you have narrowed it down to your top choices, we will order large peel and stick samples so you can see them on your cabinets before making a final decision.
